Recently, General Assembly hosted Peter Thiel, author of “Zero to One: Notes on Startups, or How to Build the Future” at their corporate headquarters for a discussion of the content he wrote about in his book.
Thiel touched on many topics including the elements of a successful startup and future monopoly, why competition is overrated, complex coordination as an underrated business strategy, the scarcity of good ideas over good people, and value as a discount to the future rather than a premium to the past.
At 30:33, Cindy challenges Thiel with a question about the future of sextech, and more generally of investing in sextech.
